Founding Allman Brothers Band drummer Jaimoe, along with later ABB members guitarist Warren Haynes, guitarist Derek Trucks (nephew of ABB founder Butch Trucks), bassist Oteil Burbridge, and percussionist Marc Quinones — performed at Madison Square Garden for one night only to celebrate 50 years of music from The Allman Brothers Band. It also marked the first time these musicians played together since the passing of founding ABB members Gregg Allman and Butch Trucks. This special performance was one of the last concerts that took place before the world was shut down by a global pandemic.

Joining The Brothers for the event was keyboardist Reese Wynans, who played in the Second Coming with future Allman Brothers Band founding members Dickey Betts and Berry Oakley, and who was a part of the early 1969 jam sessions that led to the formation of the band. In addition, also joining were Duane Trucks, Derek's brother and current drummer for Widespread Panic, and pianist Chuck Leavell. Leavell joined The Allman Brothers Band in 1972 following Duane Allman's passing and played with the group until a hiatus in 1976. He's been a member of the Rolling Stones touring party since 1981.
